Installed my cheap Rubicon steel bumper repro last night. Like it a lot. One question, the backside of the fog lights and the wiring pigtail seems kind of vulnerable. Is there any kind of cover you guys have made to protect that? Any pics?

I bought a pack of small stainless “S” hooks at Lowes. Bolted the s hooks under the nuts along the inside top of the bumper and zip tied my wiring harness to them. It worked out great!

That's how the steel bumpers are - even from MOPAR.
Simply tie the wires up every 3 or 4" like the factory would.
I used tie straps--------- member Jerry helped swap back to factory for my upcoming trade. He may remember how many nylon tie straps we had to cut for the fog light wiring and my winch wiring. Each time I said - ok, that's gotta be it - we found more LOL
I ran the fog light wiring from the right side frame connection over the top of the frame horns and then to the left fog light and used a lot of ties. They are water proof connections so the biggest thing is to keep stuff like mud or ice/snow pack from hanging from the wires.

These are pictures from a factory Rubicon with the factory steel bumper - dark, sorry, I was trying not to draw the attention of hovering sales people.......

And this was mine after taking the bumper ends off in prep for going back to factory for the trade -

Left side - one of the straps going through a frame bracket hole, and wire going up over frame to the right side.

Thanks guys, after posting this I just ended up making some cover plates and using factory mounting bolts to mount them.

Oddly enough, the right and left are not mirror images of each other. By that I mean, the driver's side plate can be a flat sheet with just 2 contour bends to make it look nicer. The passenger's side, the fog light plug sticks out (aft) further for some reason, and I had to weld up a tiny box in the center of the plate to clear the plug. Odd.
