I may be overthinking this, but thought I would ask the group.
I recently installed a Rock Hard full size bumper with the lower winch plate. Install went well, including re-installing my fog lights from the OEM bumper. Here is the question:
Should there be covers that protect the fog lights from water and debris thrown from the tires into the back of the bumper? If so, what have you done to solve it.
Thanks for looking at the post.

I worried about that too when I added my bumper. Year and a half and it hasn't been an issue. Some crap flings on them but it's not that bad. Seen it iced over, muddy, etc. and it's been ok. I've seen some products on YouTube that are like a grease you can pack around the back of the connector if you wanted some peace of mind. Won't help if a rock or something somehow kicks forward though.

No - at least not on the LED fog lights. I’ve owned 2 JTRs and the LED fog lights on both the OEM plastic and OEM steel bumpers are naked. They can handle a lot of abuse though. Transferred the fog lights from the OEM plastic to a Metalcloak bumper, just the units and their hanging bracket is all there is. Plus wiring harness of course.

Thanks for the replies, I will call it good to go.
