I partially got this as a way to have a "family friendly" bike in a way. I just hope my 5 year old falls in love with it by the summer, right now she isn't digging topless too much, can't imagine her doorless and windshieldless right now, but we have been going topless in the 60s, so maybe she is just normal and me and the twins are strange, lol.Same, plus it will be nice to have even more open air on the beach. I gave up my bike for a jeep in order to keep the open air feeling. I can see where Dust would be an issue in certain areas though.
Limb risers also help. My JK after running an especially overgrown section of the TransAmerica Trail through Oregon ...It’s fun, saves the windshield from branches off-road and no other vehicles can.
I’m sure she will! Mine loves it and asks all the time...don’t forget sunscreen and a hatI partially got this as a way to have a "family friendly" bike in a way. Cute pic. Thats how my older ones are with it. I hope my youngest will this summer, half the time I can't even get the girls to put a hair tie in. Good idea with keeping some hats and suncreen in there. Luckily I just restocked the center console with hair ties, might need to add a few more things lol.I’m sure she will! That's housing for the adaptive cruise control sensor. There's a plastic cover to put over it to protect it if driving with windshield down.Is it me, or does it look like there’s a big plastic scoop behind the rear view mirror just waiting to catch wind and rip off at street speeds?
Ah! Happily I don’t have adaptive cruise control (or I won’t have it, after I get out of KZ limbo). That's housing for the adaptive cruise control sensor. There's a plastic cover to put over it to protect it if driving with windshield down.
Not sure of your attentions with this but in some states it is illegal to run on the roads with no windshield. I do it all the time here in Ohio but I would not want to draw extra attention to it.Any ideas/suggestions for stickers/graphics/lettering to put on the frame so it’s visible only when the windshield is down?
Can I assume this means you have to buy something separate to secure it?I already have the tie downs and plan to as soon as it gets above 80 here.
Fair point. Not sure of your attentions with this but in some states it is illegal to run on the roads with no windshield. I do it all the time here in Ohio but I would not want to draw extra attention to it.
