How's it going everybody? Unfortunately, it looks like I have to sell my gladiator. It's a 2020 Sport with 120,000 miles. How much do you think I can get for it on the private market? In pennsylvania. Thanks all and it still saddens me

We'd be throwing darts in the dark. Only you know the options, overall condition, and service records associated with this vehicle. Plus regional factors such as climate and demographics come into play.

Also, http://www.autotrader.com will give you the local market prices.

A 2022 Overland with 28,000 miles in our area - $30,000-$33,000 tops in great condition. They were higher MSRP than Sport to start with.

Sport will be lower (but is it a Sport S with MAX TOW?)

Considering your miles and added age - take it way down from there.
Also consider how it was optioned - 2020 may or may not have several options that were standard later.
Too many variables.

Do some digging using Edmunds, KBB and others, but beware, places like that which make offers to you often lowball the number! I'd NEVER EVER sell to such places.

If selling privately, start higher than what KBB and others might say it's worth, you can always learn as you go.

Snap check using median options and condition, KBB says $16K to $20K private party. If you got 6+ PA winters under the belt and the underside was not treated, I would lean towards the lower end of that scale. Anything above 100K miles is a psychological barrier for many buyers and cheaper moves it quicker.

Do not know your current financial situation and your perceived need to sell, but you really are at a tipping point to just drive it until the wheels fall off if at all possible.

Put your VIN into Carvana and they will give you a number. Not a number you will probably like but a starting place.

At about 25,000 miles/year for 5 years, I would start at about 18k for "average", whatever that is, and add (or subtract) based upon condition and options. PA roads with all the salt is definitely a minus if it has been untreated and left outside. Conversely, if it is cleaned and garaged, then you have a plus. Paperwork showing service done is always a plus. New tires another plus. Don't highlight the towing stuff since that can be a negative to some buyers wondering how much and how often you used it to tow. If you live near a highway and use that to go to work, highlight that since a lot of those miles are highway miles which is typically easier on a vehicle than the stops and starts and lower speed driving on country roads. And of course, clean, clean, clean. Make the interior look as close to the original condition as possible, even if you have to spend $100 or more on professional detailing.

In any case, best wishes on getting a good price for it.
