Looking for some feedback on that. Just took info from other priced with similar setup. Was appraised @ $55,000 if put back to stock. Others I saw priced over $80k. $55k stock with over $30k for mods.

You got to look at what similar has sold for like within the last couple of months. Who appraised it for $55K stock and would they have actually bought it from you for that price?

Maxing out every option on KBB, NADA and Black Book, I get $41K-$43K private party value for stock with dealer trade in roughly in the $37K range for optimistic "very good" condition.

Also, you are pretty much being out of any powertrain warranty going to any next buyer. Realistically, I think $55K as it sits may be the best starting point.

Hum, not sure when that changed. The moded jeeps always go for considerably more. Thanks for the advice. Think I should just remove from this form.

it’s always been that way, plenty of threads here about it. Even if you got 50% back, that’s $15k. Add that to the $46k one and you’re at $61k And you have 2.5x the miles. You’ll be waiting a long, long time to get anything close to your price, leaving this forum won’t change that. Please show me another modded ones selling for close to that, that’s not a 392 swap.

I bought this 392 with 16k miles a week after that auction ended for $75k
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2020-jeep-gladiator-102/

Here is one you can buy for $82k

I know it sucks to put a bunch into it and take a bath, but just trying to save time wondering why no one is asking to buy yours. Do a search on any Jeep board, including this one, for mods add value and you’ll see the answer is they don’t. It’s a shame because your truck is very nice, and a great color.

Yeah, I am always good with cars, do all my own work and know the market. This a shock to me as my buddy sold his sport S with just the mopar lift and tires to a local custom jeep dealer for 50k. Cannot believe the marked has cha get in just 4 weeks.

The market has changed a lot in a month. A rebate came out, and inventory is not moving. Jones has new sport S for $41k and new Rubicons for $52k. Ouch. If a dealer paid him $50k they’re screwed because you can buy a new one and be under 50 with the mopar lift and tires.

Well, here is my thoughts. You could not buy and build for less then buying completed.

Well, here is my thoughts. You could not buy and build for less then buying completed.
The problem is you built it to your wants, needs and vision.

People that are going to want turn key build outs are usually going to buy either from a dealer or conversion company that has a warranty and with like new mileage.

To convince somebody to get off the fence to buy your build, it needs to be priced low enough for those to overlook what of your build is not of value to them.

Another thing to factor in, the pool is already small, it is even smaller for those who would have to take out a used vehicle loan and for a lender to give them above stock value to cover the extra mods and at a current 8%-10% prime or near prime interest rate.

I agree, it is a great looking truck but you have a long game to play looking for that unicorn buyer at $70K.

I could buy the one linked above, spend $30k on stuff I liked, and be close, with 1/3 of the miles.
