Brought my Truck into the dealership for oil change, tire rotation, etc. Was distracted by other stuff and forgot to take my Tazer out. Will that screw things up.

Only if they update your software, you'll loose your settings. Then when you unmarrry the Tazer, your updated software will be replaced by the original software installed when you married the Tazer.

Nope. Won’t harm a thing. Routine maintenance isn’t a warranty item.

I just had my 2020 in for service and they updated the software. It might better to let them know and go by and remove it. Either way they will know it's there.

I asked my dealer when it took mine in for regular service, oil change, tires, etc. The said it was no big deal on regular service but i let them know its in there when i make the appointment to see if they want me to take it out.

Hopefully they just do the basics and not a bunch of other stuff. Being at work no way for me to get back there an take it out. He told me the work would likely be done last night or early this morning depending when they got to it.

All good they didn't do anything other than change the oil and rotated the tires it appears. I asked them when I went pick it up and he said no they didn't hook it up that he could see on the paperwork.

That's great... I had mine I for the first service but also had them check a couple warranty issues.i guess that's why I got the software update.
