I took my freedom panels off today just to take a pic with the kids sticking out the roof. After i put them back on i saw they didnt line up. They’re off maybe 1/8th of an inch. Is this normal?

Might be a little off, but easy to tweak. If it's quiet and does not leak I am not sure if I would adjust, however.

I attached the official service manual instructions for alignment. You might need to look around for a few pieces of plastic or something non-scratching you can stack up to make an 8mm shim. But it can be a pretty crude shim.

I have had mine of dozens of times and no problem. Try removeing again and put on the passanger back 1st and check that it looks right before putting on the driver side.
