Front diff skid plate for Rubicon

Does anyone know of a skid plate for 2022 Gladiator Rubicon with Dana axles? I found one that fit through 2020 but can’t find one for 2022. I see the heavier covers but not a skid plate

Differential skid? I think Next Venture makes about the best, not cheap but pretty damn nice and protects all the way back to driveshaft. Motobuilt makes an excellent one as does Metal Cloak. There have been changes but basically comes down to drain plugs. There are lots out there….Jack

Bennie D be careful going to any of the top places like say Next Venture, they all have stuff you just have to have, like full skid plates with plastic slide plates, or gold colored galvanizing, yes and you better get the Metal Cloak rear sway bar brace, it’s a must have….and on and on and on!….Jack

I don't know WHEN they changed the front differential cover, but they did.
The newer version has no drain on the cover, just a fill.

I believe the older style diff sliders do NOT work on the newer diff covers.

I believe Rancho came out with a diff cover that DOES work with the new diff cover.

You absolutely can’t go wrong with Next Venture Motorsports skids. If you truly want to protect your rig from rocks, nothing compares.

I spoke to Metal Cloak last week and the current Front Diff Skid they have does not work with the newer late 2021 -2022 axles with the new diff housing. Not only is the drain plug missing, but there's a little more material around the housing. They are working on a new release of the front diff skid that would work for these new diff housings.

@OP - Right now the only companies that have the front for the 2022 seem to be Next Venture and Rancho, with Metalcloak having one in the works for the front. Been looking myself for a skid/cover for the front.

Rear didn't change axle housings so any of the brands available will fit it, pick the one that meets your needs/budget.

We offer an updated glide for the new Dana 44 without a drain plug. This change occured end of summer 2021/early fall from what we can gather.

Rancho. Easy to install and thick plate.
