2020 Gladiator with the 7" radio group, tow package, convivence group, 8 speed auto, freedom top, and Alpine audio. 34K miles. Color is white.

We have added a tri fold tonneau cover, spray in bed liner, leather seat covers, Overland wheels with 32" tires, Blue Ox base plate with Blue Ox tow bar. Taillights and turn signals work when towing.

It stickered for $45,165

What do you guys think I should ask for in a private party sale? Thanks in advance!

I would start with the carvana or carmax trade-in value and add however much money you think the effort/hassle a private party sale is worth to you. Good luck!

Let us know what Carvava, etc. says. I'm tempted as well.

Carmax on line said $35,700, dealer said $35,000, and Edmunds private party said $42,000. Edmunds took into account all of the additions except the towing equipment. I paid $1500 plus installation for that.

I would start with $42K and expect to settle between that and $35K.

2nd buyers and dealers place low value in your mods.

I would price it at $39k and see what you get. The high miles are going to hurt your value the most.

So, we ended up trading it in on a 2022 GMC Canyon Denali. I have absolutely no patience for dealing with tire kickers. We got $38,500 for the Gladiator and bought the GMC for about $2000 under sticker. We would have had to get about $41,000 through a private parts sale to come out even with the trade in deal due to sales tax differences. Wife is happy. I thought the deal was fair and that makes he happy.

On a side note, we looked at Tahoe's and Yucon's first. The only one we found that wasn't hard loaded with options had a $9,000 OVER sticker price tag. Nuts....

And thanks for the help!

That's a nice truck, I wanted one too - but I couldn't figure out how to get the roof off!

Enjoy - glad it worked out.
