Fuel door not closing completely

Has anyone noticed a problem with the fuel door not closing completely. It’s hit or miss. Sometimes it closes completely flush sometimes it doesn’t. Is there any way to adjust the tension on it closing?

Mine works great, no issues. Could yours be slightly bent?

I don’t think so. I only have about 7000 miles, and nothing has happened to the fuel door. It works perfectly sometimes.

When you close the fuel door, check the location of the plastic tether strap for the fuel cap. If it is positioned wrong it will keep the fuel door open.
