I talked to the dealer today, I have to pay the new sticker price. I do have a signed paper with the
Lower price from the Manager from the day I ordered, but that is not how it works they told me.
On the bottom of my order sheet it does say this order confirmation is tentative and subject to change, refer to the vehicle invoice for final vehicle content and pricing. They are not charging me for the missing slush mats. I need MonkeySkunks to come with me to the dealer!! I am going to have to pay if I want the truck, I want the truck. It is built and in the Jeep storage lot now just waiting for a carrier to pick it up. The delivery fee went to $1595 also, 2+1/2 hour drive. Ouch!
I hope nobody else gets this nice $900 surprise. Thanks for letting me vent...

If you have a signed paper with the price from the manager I would talk to that manager and not deal with your sales guy anymore. If the manager says the same thing I do believe I would threaten to put his shenanigan's on social media and/or get my attorney involved. Not sure if it's worth the attorney for $900 but if they were willing to put together a letter for $100 it's probably worth it.

If you end up buying it, when FCA sends the survey around make sure to ding the dealership appropriately. That'll hurt them more than $900.

I'm pretty sure it will be a take it or leave it deal. It is exactly a $875 increase from our initial deal.
Man it burns me, but hate to lose out on this truck. Gecko was the only reason I jumped on it now.
Dealing with Lawyers is the only thing worse than dealing with car dealers, so probably wont do that. If I do get it, I will do the Survey like you say! If they pull anything else I will not buy it at all.
I will survive I guess.

Heritage, if you know what I mean... It's mostly good though.

My trade-in went up about $2500 from time ordered to delivery. It wasn't recognized. Explanation was that they don't bide by KBB...
He honored the price for the Jeep quoted, but I feel cheated of the trade-in value. He did live up to the original quote though...

Well mine is here today! AND believe it or not the Gecko green is not the lime green I thought it was going to be! Has a yellow in it. What are your thoughts? I don't have to take it but I am not at all WOWed by it like I thought I was going to be. B U M M I N G!

I see zero yellow in Gecko. Hyper Green from 2017 has a yellow hue to me.

Word of advice. If you don't like it today, you will like it even less tomorrow. Get a color you will be happy with. Remember it's the most visual thing on your vehicle. It's what you have to see each time you are walking towards it.

Oh boy, do we all have these varied dealer stories?? Is it any wonder on-line sites like Carvana
have exploded? We have to look past the negative stuff and enjoy these amazing jeeps!
Your truck is gorgeous, and the pictures from your trip are just Stunning! You can not put a price tag on these Positive things!

Looks like they have some very bad/yellow lighting in that room. Have them pull it outside and look again.

I think the Gecko green is beautiful. I would not have even ordered a Gladiator if Gecko had not come out. If you hate it, you hate it, but I think you should buy it. You will forget you didn't like it today when every time you get gas, or pull up at a Party store someone has to talk to you about
your amazing jeep!

I'm going to have to disagree with you. If he doesn't like it today he probably won't ever like it. It's way too drastic of a color to warm up to. A little too much yellow would drive me crazy and I would end up hating the fact that I went through with the purchase. It's not like we are talking about a slightly different shade of grey than expected.

I was very concerned that it would have too much yellow and I wouldn't like it. I strongly dislike hyper green because of how much yellow it has. Gecko IMO was the perfect shade of green.

Considering how yellow the lights look in the reflection on the windshield and how white outside looks through the window, I think it's the lighting that's the problem not the actual color. I suspect that if they pull it outside @Billyrock will see the color he expected. As long as he doesn't regularly park under bad fluorescent lighting he may never see too much yellow in the paint again.

Got the chance to get all the red rubicon letters replaced and put the Matte black emblems on. The Red I couldn’t stand it was a eye sore for me. Looking forward to picking the Jeep up next week from the shop. Full evo coilover kit, wheels, 40s and tons of parts that were collected while waiting on the Jeep. Post some pictures of it when it’s finished

Looks great. I'm in the minority but I've never been a big fan of the across the board use of red with the Rubicon. It clashes with many colors. Same with Mojave orange.

Remember it's the most visual thing on your vehicle. It's what you have to see each time you are walking towards it.

Or just about any time you turn to face its general direction and there's there's a wall in the way. I park near the garage door so when I'm walking through the foundry I catch a blinding green light.
