Is this the closest dealer to the North West that does this? Anyone in ID, WA, etc.?

Any of you who ordered from a dealer out state have any issues with service at your local dealer? I can't imagine the service writers care, but was just curious.......
Kent at Peterson Jeep/Chrysler in Nampa, ID (Boise area)
6-8% with Tread Lightly and financing via them

I read a few posts that said he did not do 8%. ?? Did you get 8% below invoice from Kent?

I did not go with them as to get the 'sweet' deal it required financing and I was a cash sale guy. Kent was very good at returning emails, and very proactive. They have a $399 'dealer' fee that depending on who your other options are, reduces the 'percent'. I'm not sure how their financing rates compare with others, so that of course is another variable that would have to be factored in. But again, Kent is very helpful and very upfront and honest on their 'discount' structure.

Just got this from Tri-City in NC. Looks like I could get 6% from them since I am not part of the FCA Affiliate Membership for the finance discount. Looks like I may need to reach out to Gupton.

"On all 2021 Sold Orders, we are now offering a Standard 5% below invoice price with an additional 1% below invoice if you have an FCA Control Number. We are also offering an additional 1% below invoice if you also secure your financing with us (does not specifically need to be with Chrysler Capital; however, it must be with one of our lenders). You must have FCA Affiliate Membership to take advantage of the financing discount. The largest discount offered is 7% below invoice when all parameters are met!"

I'm trying to determine if this is a good deal or not. Adams Jeep in Aberdeen MD.

MSRP is $62,440 can sell it to you for $58,988 plus tax tags and titlework. I'm not sure what this puts me at. I think that $58,988 is invoice. But it sounds like the destination fee is included in that price. I don't currently have the FCA affiliate thing. I could sign up, as I'm sure it'll take more than 30 days for the jeep to get to financing.

I had very very good luck with Jeep Only in Las Vegas. My sticker was $61k and my sales price was $54k. After all was said and done, I paid just $600 below dealer cost. I just purchased my truck about 4 weeks ago from them. I looked all over the country and this dealership was the most aggressively priced one I found. They are a high volume dealer and only deal with Jeeps and nothing else. Also they are paid hourly and not by commission and didn’t give me any hassle about me using my own financing through my credit union. I dealt with many dealerships during this process and they did not want to deal with me and changed pricing dramatically when I told them I was using my own finance. Not Jeep Only, they asked to try and beat it and didn’t push me to use their financing. Flew in picked up truck and drove it home. (They offer shipping)
Hope this helps

This is fascinating and I could always use an excuse to go to Vegas. Did you have to use a control number for your price to get that low, or what? Just wondering if these people are suddenly high on my list.

With the possability to get 8% off INVOICE that should be around 12% off MSRP. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. That would put you around 54,947. Then applicable promotions off that depending on your region. Let's say $2k putting you down to 52,947. Then add in your destination fee. Taxes tags etc.

I confirmed with the dealer, and this was the response

"Yes that included the Destination charge of $1495. Selling you the Jeep for $58,988, tax is $3,569.22 dealer processing is $499 and tags and titling comes to $331 which comes to $63,387.22 on the road.... that is before any trade in. Trading something in will lower tax as well as the end number. " This works out to ~2.3% under invoice.

After talking it over with the wife. She doesn't want a long drive. She's willing to do tri city if we go to the OBX as well. But Gupton is off the table.

Where in NC are you? To me the extra 1% isn't worth it since I'm only 90 mins from Tri City. My JT just arrived yesterday and luckily only took 4 weeks to get (told to expect 8-10 weeks). Such an ez transaction with Travis. Will buy there again. Join Tread Lightly, it's worth it. I believe the $1k rebate I'll receive this month puts me around 9.7% under invoice / 13.86% under MSRP.

BTW, I tried getting quotes locally and was told if you can get 5+% under invoice to take it. They were not willling to do 1%. I even know a Sales Mgr who I have bought from before and no dice. They'll give you the rebate and that's about it, maybe a little bit more off.

Oh, the financing rate I should get is 2.24% with Tri City vs 3.95% with SECU or my bank. Plus get the extra 1% off.

I do have a question concerning tread lightly 1% discount. You don't tell the dealership about it at this stage of the game, right? Wait until you actually pick up the vehicle, to drop that on them?

If you join Tread Lightly, you get an FCA control number and that gets you the 1% additional.

I did that and financed with Tri-City and got the full 7%.
