I would also submit that the material matters. I've had extensions that when used on a bar felt "springy", then another one not so much.

Too bad it takes someone like that to show people what should be obvious, but - good thing he does.

I'm looking at buying one of those 1/2" drive extension sets.
I've beat the heck out of my other extensions on impacts over the decades, time to get something just for the impact and save the others for the hand tools.

Makes sense. Sort of like the weighted crank bolt impact sockets with more mass hitting harder with less torque loss.

My Proto impact sockets has thicker wall than my HF sockets. Same with the 1/2" extensions.

Another *Makes sense* kinda thing. Interesting that he actually did a video on it. I didn’t watch the whole thing….I ended up searching for another video.
We use torque stix……and of course, final torque with a torque wrench.
