I'm mocking up the interior with plywood and cardboard boxes. The tall box will be a storage cabinet, possibly with sink/stove on top. The bench will pull out and fold over the back seats of the Gladiator, making an "L" shaped bench. The frig is under the seat by the tailgate. Looks like I could seat four people with this layout.

Yep, just trying to keep up with my kid. If I get tired, now I can shuttle him to the top of the mountain with the Jeep!

The pics above are from Winter Park CO, which has some great mountain biking and 4 wheeling. Here's a couple more pics from there around 12,000 ft. elevation.

I love this area. I live 3.5 hours from the border of Colorado and these are the trails we drive most as well. Is that Moffat road just out of winter park?

Sounds like the right area, since there is a Moffat Tunnel in Winter Park. The pics are from Corona and Rollings Pass that go over the mountains to the east of Winter Park.

Got it, great drives! If you ever plan a trip further west towards the alpine loop let me know.

I'd love to see some midsize truck camper interior layouts. Please post pictures of Alucab, Goosegear, or other interior photos! I need some great ideas for my empty truck!

I would recommend you check out expeditionportal.com. All sorts of amazing stuff there. They have a section for midsize trucks

This reminds me that I want the camper furniture easily removable so I can haul stuff with my truck.

I’m starting the interior furniture build!

What type of wood are you using for that platform?
I'm using a 3/4" Birch with Douglas fir laminations. Of all the plywood and lumber I've used over the years, Douglas fir is one of the strongest, lightest, and most water resistant. I wanted to try Baltic Birch, but it's not available locally.

I'm using the board cups in the sides of the Gladiator bed to hold the furniture in place.

Looks like it fits. Hope it goes in and out as easily as I planned. Now time to screw it together. The cushions are on order. Still debating whether to stain, paint, or carpet it.
