Wondering if anyone has tried this

They have a template included to redrill the holes for the upper front coil spring isolator. It spins the upper isolator to correct the spring alignment to get rid of the coil bow.

Spin the upper isolator? Mine was the same thickness all the way around.
You must mean the LOWER part with the ramp.
Since the top of the front spring is flat, turning the upper isolator won't matter. Mine was the same thickness all the way around.

Synergy springs have a flat lower coil, so no bowing.

I've been looking at the synergys. Just waiting for their taller ones.

@ShadowsPapa possibly there are different upper isolators in the front for different models. I just picked up a spare for my 2021 JTRD and it is definetly tappered/thinner on the side closer to the frame vs thicker on the outside edge. I'll be cutting off the alignment nubs on the one currently above my front spring. This way I can spin it to find the best position without pulling the spring right out. Then later on I can pull the spring and drill a couple holes to install the new one i just got.

Hopefully it helps to center the spring around the bump stop and stops my spring catching it and clunking.

Well I can confirm spinning the upper rubber isolator has a huge impact and looks to have fixed my incorrectly bowed springs. Once I get it offroad this weekend and get the front end twisted up and bouncing a bit I'll be able to tell if the springs are still clunking against the upper bump stop housing or frame.

How I adjusted my drivers side isolator (still have to do the passenger):
The factory upper isolator has two rubber nubs on it that fit into holes towards the frame side of where it seats. There is a 3rd hole in the upper frame mount towards the outside of the vehicle. So I just dropped the spring down (used a couple spring compressors to hold the spring partially compressed), spun the isolator approx 180 degrees and cut off the nub towards the rear of the vehicle. This left one rubber nub to fit in the existing hole which will hopefully help to keep the isolator from spinning.

FYI my setup:
EVO 4.5" enforcer lift with full set of adjustable arms and king shocks.
Rancho drop brackets - RS62118B
Rancho lower isolators - RS62123
Due to the drop brackets and EVO arms - even with the evo arms as short as they could go I think my axle is just slightly pushed forward which also added to the spring bowing issues.

Couple pics of the adjusted driver side - there is now about 3/4-1" of space between the frame and spring (can't see it due to the trackbar/steering box brace but you can see the upper bump stop looks nice and centered inside the spring.

Couple pics of the passenger side which I haven't spun the isolator on yet - 1/2" or less space between the spring and the frame. You can see how the upper bump stop is off center and the spring is bowed inwards.

These took any bow out for me:

https://metalcloak.com/jl-wrangler-jt-gladiaro-front-coil-correction-pads.html

Didn’t have to do a thing to the upper coil isolators or drill any holes.
@TreyK42 Somehow I didn't notice your message. I have Rancho lower isolators which are very close but not exactly the same as the metal cloak ones. I bought a set of the Metal cloak to try awhile back. When I spun my upper isolator today I pulled the Rancho lower and compared to the Metal cloak and the Metal cloak just seemed to be slightly thinner but the tapper and positioning matched.

Passenger side after rotating the upper isolator. Lots of space between frame and spring now. Inward bow is gone.

PROBLEM SOLVED: I was able to get out and bounce the truck down some trails with deep ruts and flex out the front end.

Rotating the upper isolator (which are tapered) has fixed my issue with spring bow. My front springs are quite straight at ride height and no longer banging against the frame as the front end cycles. They are also no longer catching and snapping off the inner upper bump stop mounts.

Note: depending on where your axle sits (front to back) the upper isolator may need to be set at some position other then a straight 180 degree rotation.
