I just moved to the 4.5 EVO HD/Diesel springs and added the AirLift 60818HD bags for the RAM 1500.

In order for these bags to work correctly without overfilling them, you’ll need to add a 2.5” spacer to the top and bottom of each bag inside the coil.

The 2.5” spacers are available from the AirLift 1000 kit 60743 — which gets expensive as you’ll need to purchase 2 of those kits to obtain 4 spacers on top of purchasing the RAM HD bags.

however, this still came in at an acceptable cost for me while also enabling pretty great ability to tune the suspension depending on needs.

Rock krawler 4.5 lift. Dometic slide and cfx75 in the bed. RSI with rack lights and bin on the left side. Just a tiny bit of squat. Probably going to put airbags so I can adjust. Way better than the teraflex lift I was running. It squatted badddd.

@Primer Gray What PSI are you running them at loaded?

About 30psi with 500 pounds in the bed and 700lb trailer tongue.

Max rated pressure on the AirLift HD bags is 50psi, so with the spacers theres no reason to over inflate them.

Just a quick final followup. AEV HC 3” coils on their own netted very close to the same lift as TF Outback HD 3.5” WITH the 2.75” in spacers. A little perspective in play in the photos, but they’re pretty darn straight and looking much better. The simple solution is by far the best. I didn’t install the fronts (contrary to AEV suggestions) and really wish I could have just bought the rears.

I ended up running 1 inch spacer in the front with mine to get the truck level.

I didn’t bother installing the fronts. It’s level with the TF Outback’s out front. I’ll drive it for awhile and see if I feel like doing the front swap, as well. I guess I’ll make sure to have spacers on hand if I do. Feeling a little tired after 3 sets of coils in as many weeks so I’m going to let it ride for a while, as is.

I also have a heavy overlander set up, most lift kits are not designed for the extra 1000lbs. I have 3in lift with Dobinson MRR Shocks and Dobinson Springs, Rear Springs are rated for approx 800 to 1200lbs.

I'm looking into alternatives for front springs as the Eco-diesel engine is on the heavy side and my rig do not sit level as i would like it to. I have the 3.5" TF lift with Falcon 3.3 shocks, Swapped out the rear springs for Dobinson's 3" high capacity 4-600# static weight with a 3/4" spring spacer. The front of the jeep was sagging a little too much so i added the TF 1" front coil spacer but still not sitting level. Wondering if i should just buy 4.5" TF outback springs in hopes it will sit level or what springs could i get that will hold the weight correctly and sit level.

the solution was already posted:

AEV 3 inch springs, front will still be a bit lower than rear, except rear is really fully loaded, but in case of need (optically) you may add spacer to AEV front springs.

for me (personally) that is best springs if you are overlanding and carry lots of weight and don't want to lose all height.

Their 4.5s aren’t outbacks. But they have 3.5” outback’s that do a great job of handling weight. I’ve been running them for a while.

I have the 3.5" outbacks installed currently with the 1" TF coil spacer and it sits as the picture shows above. ID like to to sit just a little higher if possible with the right spring rate.

I just pulled my 3.5” front outback’s with 1/2” tf spacers. From what Taylor at TF told me, that setup compared with 4.5” regular duty would likely net me the same height.
