Was this an US or Canadian only order option? I’ve seen this same thing listed for Canadian JL going back to 2018 but never seen anything beyond the order sheets (I have yet to read about someone getting the actual half doors)
It was on a specific model US Gladiator for a few days but has since been removed from the available options to order.

Why would you put half doors on a special edition named after a colder, snowier climate? That's all backward. And why would you pay over $5k for a "special edition" that has nothing included that isn't already available on the standard trim, minus a decal? Some of these Jeep ideas are just stupid.
I agree. they need to think these through a bit more.

I kinda wish they would do something like piecemeal the thing together. Maybe I want a sport S with max tow AND lockers.
"But then noone would buy a Rubicon you idiot!"
fine, put the dana 44 locker option on the sport but make it $x.xx more than the Rubicon's cost.
In other words I would bet people would pay a little extra to get a specific item vs paying for an entirely different trim level.
The consumer would get what they wanted at a small cost Jeep would still make up some revenue they lost from not selling the upsize trim level. If pricing was right everyone would be happy I think.
Its dumb you cant get a sport with max tow with LED lights for example, that should be across the board option except maybe the base sport model.

So true. I don't need a 2" lift, disconnecting sway bar, all the fancy electronics and a max tow package. Give me a sport with a locker and manual doors/windows and some nicer tires and I'll be happy.
