My first Jeep truck was an 87 Comanche short box SporTruck loaded to the hilt, 5 speed transmission, 4x4, 4.0 every accessory Jeep offered and some they didn't.
We've been a Jeep family since that time except for a couple of years where we had a Stratus, otherwise it's been an 89 or so Cherokee Sport, after than, all Grand Cherokees. Now have a 2022 Gladiator and a 2023 Wrangler Rubicon 4xe.
I've had multiple full-size trucks - Chevy, Ford mostly, ranging from 67 C20, 95 F250 HD 4x4, on up to 2011 Silverado - which went bye-bye in favor of the JT.

Extremely happy with Jeep.
If I want to haul stuff anywhere, it's the JT.
If I just want to go anywhere, it's the JLU - when my wife lets me drive it, that is........ hard to pry that thing out of her hands.

I have had 2 GM full sized 1500's, a GMC extended cab Canyon, a Ram 1500 and multiple Jeep/Wranglers. I really don't need a full size truck but I need an open bed frequently.

The Gladiator is the perfect vehicle in so many ways for me. My current stable is a WK2 Trailhawk, a JK and the JTR. I also have an older Chevy 454 powered Class C which I use as the tow pig for the JK when I go on my wheeling weekends.

For me, this is my first Jeep. While I've always wanted one, it was really always going to be a 3rd vehicle. I needed a truck for practical reasons, and I wanted a sports car/muscle car as a 2nd "fun" car before the Jeep.

Ever since I saw the announcement for a Wrangler based pickup, it was the best of both worlds for me. I got to keep the truck for the few times of year that I needed it, and I still got my Jeep.

Traded in my 2012 2wd Tacoma, and been extremly happy with my Gladiator. Sometimes I wish I had swung for the Rubicon, but I've built my Sport up to the point where I don't really want to get rid of it either.

Not my first Jeep or first truck. I have had, not in any order, 2 CJ-7s, a CJ-5, 2 CJ-2As, a Comanche long bed, a full size J-10, and a couple of square body Chevys. Plus, my back up vehicle is a JKUR Hard Rock. I have liked all my Jeeps.

Started with a 2001 TJ Sahara. My boys loved it. Got divorced and consolidated multiple vehicles down to a FS SUV (2018 Expedition). Got into a better place financially and bought my current 2020 JTm. I miss the room and capability of my previous 2016 F150 KR, but I welcome having “my Jeep” back.

I about could check all the boxes except not happy with JT. I think it's Jeep #9 for me 2 MJ's, 3-4 XJ's or so. First truck of mine was a full size Ford.

All of you are doing a great job.
in less than 7 hours there have been more than 120 votes cast.
I'm leaving the poll open indefinitely
and you can change your votes if you want to.
Keep up the good work.

In my own case,
I bought my 2021 Gladiator, my first 4X4 truck,
in January of 2023 for my daily driver
and replaced my 2009 Toyota Tacoma.

In 2014, I bought a '98 Sahara TJ, my only other Jeep,
that I keep naked in the garage. I enjoy both of them.

My Jeep roots go back farther, however.
As a kid in the '50s, I played on the Jeep Test Hill at Fort Holabird
where the Jeep try outs were held in 1941.
During Operation Reforger in West Germany in 1971
I was assigned a jeep and a trailer.

I also have a 2006 Chevy 2500HD flatbed for a work truck.

It was a surprise to me that Jeep named the new truck
for the old Gladiator J10
and made it a hybrid JL/Ram 1500.
I thought they would reinvoke the Scrambler
and offer a two door based on the JLU.

It looks like Stellantis got it right.

The Gladiator is the first truck I've owned. Now that's not to say it's my only truck experience, having through work driven and lived with a wide spectrum of trucks ranging from as small as a Kei truck on up through a long bed 4x4 four door F-250HD, but the poll seems to only apply to ownership. For my wants and needs the Gladiator has been the only truck worth personally buying.

In order:

Bought my wife a used 2008 JKU, our first Jeep,
bought myself a used 2008 JKU,
traded my JKU for a 1996 XJ,
traded her JKU for a new 2018 JLU,
traded my XJ for a 2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo and then hung onto that until the new 2020 JT released.

I've had multiple Jeeps now that I say I'll run to the ground / keep forever and just do part swaps, but so far I can't stop trading. ? I actually just tried to convince my wife to trade her 2018 for a 2023/2024 JLU. Hers JUST started to show paint bubbling around the hinges.
