I noticed this before I put on the lift. I however put on the bielstein 5100's due to the factory ride sucked. When you bought the Gladdy new…. Everything was good? Cab was straight, etc?
When did you install the lift?
I’m guessing …..the “outside interference” is from the aftermarket parts / lift. I’m also guessing, they’re making the claim that the lift kit (extra vibrations, harsher ride ??) caused bolts to come loose causing the top to move around causing the pin/s to bend.
There are laws that prevent them from blaming aftermarket parts, but what a pain in your ass the amount of time and effort trying to fight it.
If a dealership is busy….Warranty work isn’t nearly as profitable (as regular service work) so they’ll make excuses. Finding another dealer who’s not as busy - will jump all over the chance to fill their bays.
