i think either my man used a potato to take the pictures hints the quality,or the camera was just dirty....who knows ?
Damn, I know how to make a battery out of a potato, but not a camera. I'm lacking that skill ;) In my poor camera's defense, it has taken over 30,000 photos and been in thunderstorms in Transilvania, fell down a slope on Gibraltar, and was almost snatched by the monkeys, bounced around off-road for countless miles and probably worse of all . . . riding in my pocket and never a proper camera case. I've ordered a new camera, and now I must <arm-twisting> attend the Hammers next year</arm-twisting> to make amends ? (Like wild horse could keep me away)

Ya, I knew the mission was dangerous when I took it. :whew:
It does crack me up that all the 'chatter' is about my cra**y photos, and nothing about the awesome Gladiators, mods, and accessories. I came home thinking 'how I can even make it down a paved street without'
Jeep Gladiator Gladiators at the King of the Hammers (Update - Gladiators at the S.S.S.S. Sept '22) setu

(a benefit of the lens blur is I don't have to 'blur' people's faces for PERSEC).

Actually, I was quite impressed with my stock Rubicon suspension. Very comfortable on the rough Cali highways (Falken 33" going down, Nitto 35" coming back) at 1600 miles RT, and certainly a good fit for the deserts of Johnson Valley.

Of course. That is because I was using a LIPA PRO-F Hammertown filter to get the true been there, done that race effect.

Jeep Gladiator Gladiators at the King of the Hammers (Update - Gladiators at the S.S.S.S. Sept '22) LIPA PRO-F

Although now there is a major delay in getting those shipped from Germany with covid, and the price has gone up I am told. But being the good guy I am, I have a camera with that filter permanently attached that I will let go at a reasonable price to a fellow forum member :like:

Great photos! Wish I could engage myself to take more photos with the cellphone at arms reach everywhere today and the quality of the photos are superior to what I once called a "good camera". As I age it is a regret that will pester me forever. Lucky me, also as I age I seem to have both an excuse as to why I keep forgetting to take photos and, not having the photos is a convenient way not to be reminded that I should have taken more photos. I will live vicariously thru your lens.

The show of course was 'Sand Sport' orientated so not a lot of off-road rigs. And certainly, a lot fewer dune buggies and sand rails that I thought would be there. 90%+ side by side. It was a great show and HUGE! Certainly worth the trip for me (I flew down). A lot of accessories, winches, lights, cool gimmicks necessary additions.

I found out my RZR is lacking important equipment
