Yeah I'm glad for selfish reasons. I've never seen another Gator on the road. I love the color!

I've been a fan of gator since release, actually saw my first one on the road this morning! Seen plenty on dealer lots previously

Gator is still showing up as an available color on the build your Jeep section of Jeep.com

I'm hoping this is true as I am waiting for the diesel to become available in the JT to put my order in for a Mojave.

It's on the website, but not available anymore. Also - no diesel in the Mojave.

I didn't hear that, I have a standing order in with my fleet manager for a diesel Mojave in Gator, just talked to him last week and he is thinking end of summer, or 2021 model. Bummer, guess I'll have to get a Rubicon instead.

Won't be end of summer for diesel, sounds more like November. And I haven't found it in writing one way or the other but word on the street is it will be available in Mojave.

Crossing fingers.

The build of the Mojave is more in line with my Jeeping as an overlander but as I am driving a Rubicon with the 3.6 now, I could live with a Rubicon diesel if need be. As I thought about it, if the diesel weighs in at 400lbs more than the 3.6 then I could see why they might not make it available on the Mojave.

Even though the rumor that Mojave will have a lower tow rating, that 100+ extra lb ft of torque of the diesel will make it one hell of a tow vehicle on and off road.

Sorry. I can't find the article - I generally don't make a comment like that without the backup. (You have the right idea though - 400# more, etc.)

I can confirm Gator is no more as of last Monday - the day I put in my order for a Gator. Went Gobi instead.

Based on what the dealer said or some other source? just curious.
The dealership. They ended production in that color last Monday. I had to choose a different color.

I get what people are saying about them being worth more now because of their color being discontinued. For me, i'm 53 and don't drive much anyway, so this is probably my last big truck/jeep, so it's priceless

People said the same about the Rescue Green in 2007/2008 JK and the tan color that was around in the 2012 JK I think. I don't think that Gator will bring any more money over time than any other color.
