Finally got around to mounting my new wheels with 295/70R17 tires from Goodyear. They look great on the 9 inch wheels and just what my JTR needed. Still waiting for lug nuts to show up so I can get them on the truck.

Cool wheels! Are you able to change the color ring? I looked at 295s but the size increase from the Falken 33s was not big enough to justify the cost. 295s come to about 33.3" unmounted. 305s are much closer to 34" at 33.8". I ended up ordering 35x12.5R17 but really wanted pizza cutters. They much more expensive and more than what I wanted to spend right now considering all the other projects in our property.

I've been quite happy with that tire on my LJ in 31x10.5r15 and plan on going back with them. They look great and all, I've started looking into my next set of tires for my JT. Not a rush, I've got substantial amount of tread left.

I had the rings painted to color match the truck. They are simulated bead lock but could have opted for real bead locks if I wanted. I went with 295’s since it gave me the width for the 9 inch rim and I do not want to lift the truck

I too ordered 9" wheels should come in today. I went with bronze. I'm just doing a leveling kit for my JTR.

I went with 295/75/18. They are nearly 35s. I think they were 34.5 or something. I like the narrower tire look.

I have been meaning to post an update on the Goodyear Duratrac RTs on my '23 JTOD. I went with the P275/65/r18 on stock wheels. I have put 8K miles on them, mostly mixed city/highway, light off-roading, and could not be happier. No visible signs of wear yet. They are quiet, great in the rain, and had very minimal impact on fuel economy, still averaging 26-27mpg in mixed driving. I have towed our 16ft dual axle cargo trailer twice and no concerns (see other post). I will buy them again as long as they are available. Just saw that on Goodyear.com they have a $200 rebate on a set of four (4). I got the same deal at Christmas when I bought mine.
