I use them with the Sunrider without issue.

Did you wrap them around the sunrider bar?

Never understood why people add these to a Gladiator. They already have handles in the front stock.

Because that’s an awkward spot when you’re driving and just don’t want to hit your head on the glass when off roading. I only use the forward ones for getting in when the steps are turned off.

Some wrap around handles work well, if the wrap is pretty thin. But the fool prof option is to attach them from below.

My wife made ours out of paracord and connectors. They wrap around the roll bar. They do not interfere with the Sun Rider top, Freedom panels and since we don't use the bolts for the top, they stay with the jeep when the top comes off.

We did make sure the 2 that go wrap the roll bar are tight so they don't slide.
