My son and I attempted to install my rock sliders last night with only half success. Started on drivers side and all went well and they looked great. Then to the passenger side, there was no way that side was gonna work. The front bracket had at least a half inch to go before it touched the bottom of the frame and if you pushed it there it was gonna dig into the body. That was even before I tightened the center all the way down, if the center was tight it made the front worse. We tried everything to no avail.

I know everything is side specific. Maybe you got some brackets flipped?

The were stamped and we triple check that. Maybe if they were stamped wrong but one side was perfect and the other really not even close.

I’ll call them but what I think is wrong is the holes for the brackets on the sliders are drilled wrong.

probably so. I haven't seen this issue in the forums before or on Bestops website. The instructions are pretty clear as well.

Yeah that’s why I think that way because I know the brackets are in the right place.

i called BesTop about my issues installing and they told me that they haven't had a single complaint about theses, yet when i look online i see nothing but complaints with poor fitment. They gave me 50% off because I had to modify it to make it fit (Thanks dremel!) but i lost the daylight and couldn't only handle so much headlamp work before i had to give up, and the very next day was a scheduled vasectomy so no heavy lifting for the last 2 weeks and my mojave has just been riding around with naked pinch welds since the BesTop crap still isn't fitting yet.

I'm finally feeling up to some manual labor so i'll get out there tomorrow and try again, but dremel is your friend for elongating some of those bolt holes, especially the front passenger side bracket.

As far off as they were I’m not sure a dremel would do the job. More like a drill bit and a drill.

Lots of us who got the liquidation sale had problems with the passenger front side bracket not aligning properly, myself included. Sad they'd say they had no problems when other members here stated they called about the issue... Shady. The original thread about the sale had quite a few complaints going.

Not sure what to do. Was told that there was no replacement available due to them being discontinued. So short of trying some sort of modification I guess I’m out of the money spent. Guess I’m lucky I didn’t spend full price money.

If you send Bestop pics of the problem and they don't help you, dispute the charges with your CC. It is on Bestop to make this right.

They want me to send pics of the issue I’m having to make sure it’s not me installing it wrong but I’ve already took it all off and put my Rubi rails back on. So I’m probably gonna just take the $170 dollar loss cause I don’t want to fool with trying to put it back on. I work out of town all week and I’m only home for 2 days and don’t want to spend it all trying to prove there stuff is messed up when they don’t have parts to correct it.
