getting a white Mojave soon and was wondering about the different graphics you can buy to add a bit of color to the sides of the Gladiator. Are their any brands better than others and do they stay put even after going thru a car wash??

My wife stickered up her Wrangler about a year ago and the vinyl still looks like it did when it was new. She worked with https://lbdesignworks.com/ on some custom pieces. Gotta say their customer service was fantastic working with her on the design and the price was surprising affordable for custom work.

I’m no expert but having done a little reading, yes there are differences in vinyl. You’lll want to make sure your decals are made with a permanent outdoor adhesive vinyl. Oracle and 3M are two manufacturers (there are more) that make this type, if you’d like to read up.

There’s also a cottage industry of people that make decals on consumer Cricut machines (nothing wrong with that) but if I were purchasing from one of them I’d want to make sure it’s a quality vinyl that’s gonna last or stick with one of the bigger names like have already been mentioned in this thread.

I can’t speak to how well they do in a carwash. We’ve never put our Jeeps through one. I prefer to wash myself. I just wash and wax over her decals and they hold up fine.

I'll second the L&B Designworks They do good work and they use wet application vinyl which, for me, is easier to use and apply.
He can get bogged down sometimes so you might have to check in with them often if they are doing custom work for you. The bed stripes on mine were custom set up I did for D-Day.

I have a lot of graphics on both Jeeps. The hood, side vents, and bed stripes were done by Pixel Decal. Don has done custom work on both Jeeps and he does great work. The graphics on the 21 JTRD have lasted four years and still look new. I don’t use car washes but wash by hand. The grill decals came from other various vendors as there are several online. The first red line flag decal I purchased didn’t even hold up to hand washing but the second has been great so far. I have even purchased a few assorted decals from ETSY.

The possibilities are endless….. and hopefully, when you buy graphics online, they’re using the proper vinyl for vehicle applications (not all vinyl is the same).
Also….prep work is extremely important prior to applying the graphics.

We have a vinyl cutter and put our own touches on it (pinstriping). I still want to put something on the top of the hood yet, I just haven’t had time to design it yet.

They’re from M.O.R.E offroad…. You could probably find something similar/cheaper. They installed overtop the rubi rails that I kept (Sold the other parts).
