Going all in on the GDE hot tune tomorrow. I'll keep the forum posted. Still running stock 33 falken wildpeak mud terrains, but may upgrade to 35s or 37s at some point when these wear out. Would like to switch to all terrain KO2s because I do about 80 percent freeway/surface roads, and 10-20 percent offroad.
Did you get it back yet?

Yes. It drives noticeably better. Turbo lag from a stop is gone. More torque at all RPM. Slightly improved mileage, which seems to keep improving the more I drive it. Have about 400 miles on the new tune, and averaging a bit over 23mpg. Was at 20.5 before the tune. I have 33 inch Falken Wildpeak mud terrains, stubby bumper with winch, and overland extreme bedrack on it. Everything else is stock Rubicon trim.

Overall, I am satisfied with my investment so far. The guys at Green Diesel were great.

I'll just throw this out there, which may not get read much. I have no idea if you leased your vehicle and don't want to know. For those that lease their vehicles, you have no ownership in the vehicle. It's essentially a lease of use for a period of time. When you turn it in it has to be in the same condition as when you picked up the vehicle. The concern here, is if you modify the vehicle programing and its found to be the cause of a catastrophic failure, other than owing probably what they say the value is you may have some other legal issues to contend with if you "Knowingly" made a modification against what your lease contract says you can make they may have other legal remedies available to them including you being liable for a crazy interest rate of loss of use charge until you have the ability to pay them back. Yes this is very vague, but 99.9% of people will never read a lease contract.

Just me, but if I wanted more power, I would have purchased a gas model and had a Hemi or LT motor put in it for an extra 30-40K.

Just me, but if I wanted more power, I would have purchased a gas model and had a Hemi or LT motor put in it for an extra 30-40K.
Okay Mr deep pockets, your lease concerns are warranted but to suggest a motor swap in lieu of tuning a diesel? Lol. How would that work on a lease?

They're completely unrelated anyway:
A bump in performance for a factory motor under 2k or exchange the whole engine to make a hotrod?

2 different trains of thought.

1. The Lease issue if that is this OP's case or for others contemplating power adders.

2. Motor swap: No I don't have those kind of pockets, but by upgrading to the diesel increases my torque almost 200 points over the 3.6L...how much do you really need...and the potential risks.

Drive a diesel and know know exactly what you need. The diesel doesn’t need more torque. It needs more response off idle. Things like these tuners give you better response down low and that’s the reason I would get it
