Halogen to LED taillight woes

So I bought some LED tails from another JT owner. he said sure... NO Problem they will fit.
Well, I went to swap them & low and behold... no joy

Who has the BEST Halogen to LED conversion swap tails out there? I've been all over Amazon/eBay and am not impressed.

I went with Morimoto and am happy with them. There are a few others out there just have to do a google search for LED tails and see what tickles you.

ORACLE ! BTW you will need to update the system for LED Tail lights .. Jscan if you have does it.

I am running the Oracle for nearly 2 years now without a single issue. I am about to try the Diode Dynamics LED tail lights since my headlights and fogs are also from Diode. View attachment 469196

Only reason I passed on DD tails is they don’t seem to solve the issue of sticking so far out. To me they look exactly the same width as stock tails. Am I wrong?

If I had to upgrade today, I'd order from:

Partly because future replacements will be standard off the shelf parts. And you can get a heated version of the lights too, although not yet from Combat Offroad as far as I can tell.

These guys would be my choice if they had blind spot monitoring. The lights themselves look bayudazz. Just that radar not being there is what kept me from pulling the trigger.
