I noticed I have a leak in my differential at 23k. Anyone have information on this issue? It seems to be coming from the locker wiring connection. Issue after issue…
Has not happened on ours yet- but it’s a 10mm bolt, jiggle the sensor and it will come out. Has a single o-ring that you can inspect for rub/wear or broken. “Mopar” o ring from the dealer, or I’m sure a harbor freight o-ring would work fine.
word of caution- hang on to the two red wires that go into the differential (there is a inside connection that will need to be done)- total pain to fish back through if it pulls inside once disconnected.
If you are still under warranty (23k - you should be), I'd let a dealer look at it just in case there is something else going on. Also, depending on how much fluid you've lost if you have any diff issues in the future it might be good to have it "officially" logged in your dealer record.
But, you could also grab a cheap o-ring and fix it yourself most likely.
