I ordered the optional all-weather slush mats and noticed there is a hole allowing water to drain and soak the carpet underneath (you can feel the carpet through the hole). Just wondering--is this hole supposed to be covered with some sort of cap?

Yeah it's to put your drain plug in. Just cut out the carpet right under the hole and it connects through the drain plug. Spill ice coffee? Don't worry just open the drain plug.

There should be a precut on the carpet.

My carpet had the holes precut so much I was able to just pull one of them loose with my fingers, no blade. I tossed them in my JT “take-offs” bin just in case I wanted to pu them back for some reason. A little tape on the back side would hold it better than when I got it new.

I like these mats a lot.

I have noticed on the 2020 Gladiators and Wranglers they are precut. On the 2019s you had to cut them out yourself.

Got it! Thanks for the help guys.

BTW the mats in back (no drain plug) fit poorly and i can't get the rear button to pop in.
