my gladiator has the oem led lights and came with them from the factory. i want to install so aux lights that will come on with the high beams and automatically turn off when i go to normal beams. i have done this on several vehicles by taping the high beam wire to trigger the relay. but i don’t want to tap the wire incase i have a warranty issue with the led light, i would prefer to get a wire that is basically a short extension from headlight to the oem headlight wire and tap it. does anyone know what that connection is called on the oem led lights? i plan to use the aux switch as the power source and headlight for trigger so they will not run on the street unless i push the aux switch but i will be able to instantly turn them off if i meet another vehicle on the trail. thanks guys

thank you very much bud i really appreciate you taking the time to do that for me. exactly what i was hoping for!!!!
I would add to search some more on Amazon for "H13 Extension" as there is usually more than one seller/supplier for these kind of things. Quality can vary and it helps to read the reviews and make a judgement before purchasing.

do you happen to know if the oem halo will still work with one of these extensions? i have read the halo may use a 4th wire but i really don’t know. i haven’t taken anything apart yet. thanks again and i will definitely go with a quality unit with good reviews

Tell you the truth, I really do not know. Even the OEM wiring diagram for the headlamp system does not give the wiring for the LED halo lights. I tried looking at other light system diagrams to see if it is buried in there but have not found anything.

Speculatively, I do not think it should affect it but cannot say for certain.

i was able to get a decent look at my led headlight which were installed at the factory. it has 4 wires run to each lamp and i believe the connection is a molex mx150 6 pin. i ordered a set of them to make my own extension cord. i will update on my progress if anyone is interested in this style of light trigger. i have always like it.
