Two points. They're red.Your point?
I'll trust ppl like Kent at Nampa when he verifies what 2 other dealers have also told me.... and none of us here trust the online build crap, which is why I posted a screen shot of the dealer order info page (again here)...I can't imagine that it isn't.
As pointed pointed out much earlier in the thread, it's part of a package within a package.
Dealers probably aren't that well-versed on the details of the 23's yet, and the online build and price system is likely incomplete.
I'll be doing some work again tomorrow at my dealer. I'll ask one of the smarter people.
They got this one guy who can print to two different printers without calling for help!
The windshields are the same.... because they fold down the system isn't built into the window.... manual brakes work, but I like my power brakes....Just my 2 cents and I’m sure that nobody will care and it my tick some off. 2 reasons i didn’t order the ACC on my 21 Mojave is 1 the windshield cost more to replace and the biggest reason. Is that if I need to rely on a piece of “technology” to keep me from running into the @$$ end of another vehicle, then I need to give up my license. To me it gives the person behind the wheel a false sense of security by relying on something like that to slow you down or stop you. I see people almost daily in Tesla’s driving with no hands on the wheel and even saw one reading a book doing 70. To me, less electronic’s on a vehicle the better. Just my 2 cents. Bring on the hate mail. ?
Im told its part of the Advanced Safety Group, sales code ALP $945. It also requires Safety Group sales code AJ1 $1045. I ordered my 2023 with these options. This thread is talking about ACC Not being available for a 2023 order.
How does showing it was available in 2021, help or matter?
We all knew it was available in 2021 and 2022. We are trying to figure out if it is available Now.
Safe lite has 2 different windshields for for ACC and one without. Almost a $450 dollar difference, both for OEM glass. The windshields are the same.... because they fold down the system isn't built into the window.... manual brakes work, but I like my power brakes....
Safelite is charging for the calibration on replacement which these don't require because the system isnt on the glass like other systems.Safe lite has 2 different windshields for for ACC and one without. Almost a $450 dollar difference, both for OEM glass.
This sux. When I was getting mine I had to add so much crap to get it that I decided it is not worth it, cant even recall if it was available with manual. My Honda Sport had it out of the box. Since both of my cars are manual I get limited use out of this feature and happy to have cruse recall button (or whatever it is called). Frankly speaking I think it sux how Jeep is charging premium for electronics when Japanese and Korean just come with nice staff. I fail to see how these components could be so expensive when I can get a 55" TV for a quarter of what they want for 8' screen. Perhaps a Kickstarter is in order to get some options in electronics as there are some flavor of aftermarket radios which work with our models and have multiple cameras option, which is by far most needed for off road driving.Went to order my JTRD today, just on a weird feeling I asked if adaptive cruise was in the advanced safety group. It normally is, and the price is the same as normal, but when the deal looked at details, ADAPTIVE CRUISE is no longer there meaning NOT AVAILABLE.....
Killed my deal ....
On that one I'm deferring to the other posts, never had mine replaced but more than a couple folks have and say there is no differenceSafe lite has 2 different windshields for for ACC and one without. Almost a $450 dollar difference, both for OEM glass.
There are two types of adaptive cruise for the jeep, adaptive with stop & enhanced adaptive... one is for the auto trans, the enhanced is for the manual.... the enhanced is only good till about 15 mph because it can't actually stop youThis sux.
