I’m in the same boat. I’ve got a set of rubi coils lined out. 339 and 340. But my max tow is this weird format. 7801AA for front driver and 7802AA for the passenger.
I've seen a few people put Rubi springs on the front of a max tow and it gives about a 3/4" lift.

That’s what I’m hoping for. But I was trying to compare numbers before pulling the trigger and I found these weird part #s.

And I just looked at my Rubi springs.
340/343 and 450/451

See I’m wondering if I should wait for a heavier set now. Cause the set I’m looking at came off a soft top, plastic bumper rubi

Mine came off an LE hard top. Pretty sure they had all the options available.

Hate to say it but I'm afraid it may lift it a bit too much for my 33s. Guess it will look like a Mojave. LOL

I really just wanna do a TF 2.5 coil lift in the front and run a spacer in the rear. But noooooo, stupid warranty.

That's the beauty of using oem parts. Even though they technically didn't come on it from the factory, most dealers wouldn't even bat an eye at different oem springs. And they wouldn't even know unless they looked at the build sheet.

But I hate the idea of spending money for a temporary “fix” that might give me 3/4”.

I agree. But I only have $100 in these Rubi springs and shocks. If I don't like them I could easily make that back and then some.

Changing to Rubi springs will give you minimal to no lift. Rubi's appear to have taller springs in the front due to the higher mounted fender. I have a 21 80th Anniversary with spring numbers: Front spring Right #68341325 AB / Left #68341324 AB.

I gained 1” in the front changing from stock 334 and 335 to 340 and 343 springs on my max tow, I did not change the rear springs. I have a set of rear springs 450 and 451 I have no use for.

what were your original spring numbers??

Also, I have a line on a set of springs, 439, 440....and 324 and 325....any idea how these would compare or what they would do to my Willys????

Wrong. They DO sit higher and many folks here have found that out.
I got almost 1" with the lighter of the Rubicon front springs. Even the dealer said they were made "Taller" and it's not just the fenders.
There have been many people here get anything from 3/4" to 1" lift - those are averages and depend on the numbers of the Rubicon springs and the weight of the truck they are going under.
Look around - it's a very old topic discussed much, and many spring swaps have been done, including my own. Definitely sits higher and I measured it to prove it.

Here's the info from the Rubicon springs I bought -
Rear springs were 449 and 450.
Fronts were 339 and 340.
The shorter 449 rear spring has 1 more coil

I ended up using only the front springs.

If your happy with what you got out of it that's what counts. For me getting between 0 and 1 inch is negligible In saying what I have here is to advise anyone going through the effort of a spring change and getting 0 to 1 inch lift the results may be disappointing. With that said a lot of people are snapping up Rubicon wheel tire and spring take offs.

I can't remember. Did you have a max tow or no?
