Make sure the right hand side Freedom panel is correctly seated. When I took mine off the first time, I did not get it seated correctly and it squeaked.
cheers

Play some music with good bass and turn up your bass so you can get more consistent rattle. Does it happen with the hard top on only? I had a rattle in the bulkhead above me toward the passenger side. I eventually found a loose screw, tightened it, and all was good. My issue was there when the top was both on and off. It may also be worth noting that I have the Alpine system.

Isn’t there a drain tube in the “B” post that could be rattling and be loose? I have yet to check but I also have a little rattle next to my left ear while I’m driving and hit bumps. I think it’s located under the plastic trim near your shoulders. I haven’t taken the time to figure out how the plastic trim comes off..

I would recommend retightening the 2 front bolts below the freedom panel. The first time I removed my entire hardtop, and put it back on; this happened. Turned out the driver side bolt had come loose.

Check where the posts go into the holes and lube them with silicone.

reviving an old thread here but I've been having the same issues! It's not all the time but when it does it's when I go over bumps. I finally isolated it today to the passenger freedom panel. If i put quick upward pressure on it (like a tap) it makes the noise and if I hold it with some pressure it stops. I'll check all the bolts as mentioned here, thanks!

There is a hardtop bolt under the freedom top on the driver and the passenger side. If one gets loose they rattle on every bump. My drivers side one was loose and if I hid a reflector/manhole cover etc on that side it would rattle.

Where are these bolts located on the hard top? The very front?

Take off the freedom tops and it is the roof bolt going into the sport bar. I would tighten the one over the driver side and it would loosen up and start rattling again after a few weeks. It has finally calmed down. That thing drove me nuts for weeks!
