Death wobble doesn’t stop until you are close to stopping, and violently shakes the rig… if you don’t come close to having to change your shorts, it not death wobble.
OP, you need to have the tires checked for balance, they are the cause for a wobble most of the time.
Next would be a dry steering check. With engine off, crawl in front, and have a helper shake the steering wheel had back and forth, look at all the joints and see if anything moves that shouldn’t, or moves excessivel.
That is exactly how Death wobble starts. It will get worse over time. Addressing it now is what the OP is doing. Sure balance the wheels. I think that would be repeatable though. A worn shock, perhaps but even that kind of bounce will go away while driving.
