Hello everyone,

I recently posted between a 2024 Willys and 2023 Mojave and have decided to save some money and go with the Willys as it's more practical for my needs and I love the interior. I had a few questions I was hoping y'all could answer for me because I couldn't find the information online.

-Technology Group:
Does this come with anything worth getting besides the speakers? 12.3 Inch touch screen with wireless CarPlay I assumed came standard on all models.
What is the 240 Amp Alternator/400-Watt Invertor upgraded from?

-Convenience Group:
This seems way overpriced for what you get. What does Automatic Temp Control actually do?

I'm trying to spend as little money as possible and am planning on getting the Willys with just the Auto Transmissions, unless one of these packages has something worthwhile that I can't upgrade myself for less.

I'm looking to spend ~40,000 for a Willys with only the only add on being an Auto Transmission (49,390 MSRP).

tech group is just 1 up from base which has no 120v 400w outlet behind the center console facing the rear seats. 240 amp alternator is to support that inverter load. If you don't have the inverter i think u get a 160 amp?

Conv Group is usually default with the bigger screen options as the headunit will have control over the temp and air along side any buttons. It usually just function like ac in your house. only turns on and blow till it reaches desired temp and then turns off.

I would always opt for the cold weather package. its features are well worth it imo. A tow package, the one with HD cooling is recommended as well. But if this vehicle is on lot as is, the there isn't a package i would recommend that they could install now.

If I wanted to install a higher watt invertor, would I be able to install the 240-amp alternator later on without damaging other electronics?

When you say you love the interior in comparison to the Mojave, I'm assuming you can only be referring to the new uConnect screen right?

I would think the seats in Mojave would be nicer/more comfortable than the cloth in the Willy's.

But to answer your actual question, no. I was interested in the Trail Rail package when pricing out a 24' and the fact I was forced to add 2 other useless options turned me off big time.

I say keep it simple, the cheaper the better

I can't see why not? A bunch of packages make the 240 standard, and personally i did end up usinf the 400w plug quite a bit.

I found the Willys seats to be comfortable and prefer the bigger screen, colors, and air vent layout of the 2024. The 2023 Mojave was a little bit outside of my budget, and the Willys has enough of what I need to make me satisfied with it.

What’s work?
My build sheet has 240 amp alt, tow package and no inverter. Tow package might be why, and I’m not sure what there version of a tow package is exactly. Maybe just a hitch? Maybe alternator also? Idk

The 2024 Mojaves get the weird color green interior that doesn't seem like it would be too popular. Some pics here:

Willys pkg is high to me. I did an "any distance" search from Ky for a new 23 or 24 Willys. Lots of 44k units but only one less than

that. Not sure of the option list, though.
