The leather is there because it’s the Katskin. The Katskin option was always underneath like that.
When I bought my 2022 - it was up top with seat choices. Seeing it down there is new to me.
But then it was always listed as "leather trimmed seats" so they have removed the leather seats they used to offer and moved those up to the X package only, apparently.

Used to be listed as "leather trimmed" ->

They've saved all of the Corinthian leather for the Mojave versions,
The Rubicon and Mojave non-X versions get Nappa leather, all others get Katskin.

No power seats in the Mojave X?

Stellantis doesn't care what any of us think because it won't impact their bottom line all that much.
They can't even get rid of 23's with 15% off MSRP. The Gladiator is already a dinosaur after 4 years. These Italians just fumbled the bag. At these prices the Gladi will no longer be a thing in a few years, or theyre purposely listing these at high prices so people think they're getting a deal when dealerships offer steep discounts, when in reality it's just the actual MSRP

I haven't bought or priced a sport level jt since 2019 when there was no such option. Makes sense.

Jesus, my Mojave would have to be ordered as an X now. I paid less than 50k in Dec 2020. I can't imagine paying 65k+ for a gladiator. I guess I'll keep driving mine, hopefully for a long ass time....

Good thing I don't continually buy-n-trade. I have over 200k miles on my 2008 JK that I gave to my oldest son. I bought my JT to replace it when he turned 16. I'll keep this one as long as I can as well.

Some of you guys seem to have bottomless pockets - good for you! And those others that got 20% or more off - that's AWESOME. I felt lucky for MY2022 to get single-digits.

For fun, though, I did price the same (as close as I could) build for my 2022 and came up $7k higher for a 2024. Wow... that huge screen is really the only material difference I could pick out between the two.

I just built a JTR as close as possible to my 2023. Came in +17k over what I paid in December.
I recently bought a *loaded* 2020 JTR (literally every option except trail rails) with just 29k miles on it for ~$30,000 less than what a new one similarly loaded would cost.

I think we're seeing this temporary surplus at low prices because of a few economic factors (high interest rates due to inflation, overproduction), but I think once this current glut dries up, you're going to see prices rise substantially on both new and used models. IMO, right now is a GREAT time to snag one of today's modern "scramblers" if you don't need to finance much on it.

Sometime women scare me. I think I need to drive my wife to the ER.........

We're driving into town to do a bunch of errands, and look at a cabinet my wife wanted.
I told her more about why I was talking to Scott, our Jeep sales guy to try to figure out some things discussed on the forums among other thing.

I told my wife - "that guy, damn good sales guy, when we talked about my Overland, all the stuff I ordered it with, and he knew almost every option I got with it, and were talking no more Overland and so on - he said "we have a blue Mojave coming in that has all of your options and you get the body colored roof and fender flares as well as the A/T tires and the Selectrac transfer case since I know you like that one".

I told my wife what Scott told me expecting to hear something negative from my wife.
I almost slammed on the brakes when she said "so are you going to trade"?

Her first reservation was actually "but you have so much stuff you've installed on yours and you'd have to take all of that off again and start all over".

I said - "yeah, it would take me a week non-stop or two guys 2 or 3 days to put it back to stock for trade, not sure I want to do that."

I was shocked - that was her first concern? All of my mods?
I'm like - yeah, but the COST?!!
I reminded her - my snow plow won't work on a Mojave - there's a deal breaker there.
The conversation pretty much died there.

All I have to do is show her a picture - she hates the mojave hood LOL
Money, and the work to move my mods? Ugh.
She loves how I can plow snow now so I'm pretty sure that's the end of the conversation going forward.

I was totally shocked. I figured she'd be pissed for me even talking to our Jeep sales guy, Scott at all - it always gets us into trouble.
The guy is just too nice and is a decent mind reader (not to mention knows GVWs and so on)

@ShadowsPapa , tried to follow but wasn't able to understand ...
Bottom line - instead of my wife saying "why would you trade" or "why were you even talking about it" or "but the cost" or something else, when I told her I had a conversation with our Jeep sales guy, she instead asked "so are you going to trade"?

Huh? No - but we can't afford it or why would you or anything else.

Yikes, over $70K for a Rubicon X and it still only has the Pentacrap and tiny 33 inch tires.

Had another phone chat with my sales guy......... the fact that we're still in a correction, new vehicles are plentiful, and there are deep discounts on the 23s has indeed dropped values of vehicles like mine.
My 2020 at trade with 27,000 miles, 2 1/2 years old brought 45K
My 2022, 18,600 miles, not yet even 2 years old - 30K according to KBB but the top is 33K so even if you figure mine is excellent, no problems, that's 12K less on an identical vehicle with much lower miles and less age.
Scott said it was mostly because people are jumping on the plentiful new ones.
"We're still in a correction and reeling from the covid years in the vehicle markets" in his words.
He also said they here the Mojave outsells everything else in large part because people like the styling and the ride. They don't keep Rubicons long but if there's a Mojave on the lot, it will go fast. He said people here don't care about lockers and sway bar disconnects, so go with Mojave for the ride and appearance.
Another nice chat with him.
Oh, he's also seen no price update or change on Gladiator to date. Compass and Grand Cherokee prices were adjusted, not JT

HAHAHA - no, won't work here.......It's tight quarters and I need to stack it high as I can (and see what the heck I'm doing!)

I work for no man.
Tried to configure a 2024 Sport S Max Tow like my 2022 just for comparison. Did I miss something? Couldn't find the Max Tow package. Is that no longer a thing?

read back - the web site is screwed up.
The dealers can order it, it's on their screen.

Bottom line for anyone looking -

YOU CAN order a Sport S WITH max tow.

Ignore that build and price site.
