I asked my dealer about the "High Velocity" color availability. He said that "High Velocity" is not open at this time. Possibly it will be opened up for some short-term option sometime next year. Just FYI...

I think it'll look good, but I would have preferred something similar to the Inca Gold offered on the TJ's in the early 2000's.

I loved my inca gold tj rubicon, such a cool color!

With this version of yellow as a limited color, they will probably skip a model year before bringing another yellow variant back let alone something like Hella Yella. That will be like 2024 model year before that becomes realistic.

I went ahead and ordered some touch up of high velocity to get a sneak peek of what it might look like in person. Thanks for sharing that site!

Have you received your touch up paint yet? I ordered a bottle as well and haven't gotten it yet...I'm def anxiously awaiting to see what this might look like

I'm really hoping this yellow is closer to something like Hella Yella than something like Accelerate Yellow on the C8 Corvette. If I wanted something that looked like a highlighter, I would get Gecko (no offense).

Honestly one of the best colors ever put out by Jeep. It would look amazing on the JT IMO.

Where did you order from? Automotivetouchup? I see other sites like Wal-Mart, scratcheshappen.com, ERA (Easy Repair Automotive - on Amazon) and wondered if they would be faster.

I got my touchup paint. The swatch that looks kind of green is accurate. In low light it has a sickly green to it, in direct sunlight it looks like the Corvette color posted above but a little more pastel. I love yellow, but this is a swing and miss for me on something as big as a gladiator


Edit: I asked my wife to describe it and she said a pastel canary. That feels fairly accurate.

I wonder how it compares to solar yellow. I had that on a 2000 TJ and solar yellow wasn't very bold like Hella Yella, but it looked good on the Jeep. I also wonder if it would look more vibrant under a clear coat.

I had an 02 TJ in solar yellow. Ended up with Nacho on the JT and I’m happy

I went ahead and ordered a spray can today. I knew I wouldn't be able to decide without actually seeing it for myself and I didn't want to take a chance that it would stop being available by the time I could see an actual truck in person. I'll do some spray outs with a clear coat on top and I'll try to find other yellow paints to compare it to (hopefully hella yella (JL), solar yelow (TJ), and baja (JK)).

yeah I ordered from automotive touch up. Just checked order status and it should arrive tomorrow. I’ll post pics ?

I got the paint and did a few layers of high velocity over primer on cardboard followed by two sprays of clear. The bright yellow is under white fluorescent light, while the more muted pic is under yellow light. I’ll try to catch a pic in some sunlight as well.
