High voltage?

Good afternoon,
I recently noticed that my voltage was charging at 14.6 to 15.2 volts on a fairly regular basis.
During my last trip to the dealer for my oil change under the free oil change Jeep wave nonsense I mentioned this to one of their service advisors.
which he claimed was fairly normal.
When I got home I popped in my OBD2 reader and the codes came up C2129 Battery voltage Circuit Voltage above threshold
And P0622 Generator field F terminal circuit.
The vehicle is currently sitting at 36000km so under full warranty.
2024 Mojave.
Anyone ran across this and what's the best way to proceed.

That is probably not a good idea, unless you bring the batteries in and place them on the counter. I wouldn't let them hook anything up under the hood. Batteries need to be isolated for testing. I doubt any parts store would touch it anyhow, especially the Aux.

As an alternative, the OP can connect a battery charger and reset the IBS. That way if he continues to see those higher voltages, he may want to investigate further. Testing the batteries is what I would do. That might not be an option for some owners. He could go to the dealer and have them document things are all good. I would hope the dealership would do this. Then if one is bad, they could replace it under warranty. It sounds like he has a code relating to the charging system and that is what the dealership could use for warranty work.

I have think autozone only does the test disconnected….. the ones I’ve seen are at the end of the counter. I wasn’t aware they did them in vehicle too.

I've had as high as 15.2V occasionally, but never checked for codes. Did you any error lights on?
