Hissing noise on acceleration

Hey guys,

Tried searching the forum, but couldn't find anything exact.

I have got a strange hissing noise on acceleration that is very evident with my windows rolled down, and almost sounds as if it is coming from the drivers side. I have not taken it to my dealer yet but I figured I'd ask here to see if you guys have any recommendations? My dad's 2020 Gladiator is at the dealer for the 3rd time for a constant transmission problem that they can't seem to fix and now with the issue I'm having, I'm really beginning to get frustrated. Oh, it's a new 21' Mojave with only 750 miles on it. It has been present since I took delivery.

JL/JT use an electric vacuum pump instead of a manifold tap. More than a few posts on hissing sounds and all have lead to that.

I wouldn't think twice about your response if it weren't the case with my dads 20' Gladiator or my last 20' Gladiator. Neither of ours had/have that hissing sound upon acceleration.

That's good to know, I describe what I hear as like a faint fan noise, or possible like exhaust leak hissing out.

It's not a everybody will have it affair. Just when it does, that has been the stated culprit and it comes and goes.

My 8speed makes all kinds of hissing noises going through a drive thru stop and go etc. Drives fine though. You might mention which transmission you have though.
