I can tell you from experience, that this type of accident happens so fast that you resally have no time to react. The jeep driver peobably saw the vehicle slowing down and asumed they were going to stop. By the time they realized no, it was crunch time.
I agree. When someone tags you in the ass end as you’re passing, good luck avoiding that.

I was standing in my driveway talking to my parents when I saw the same thing happen at the intersection by me. As a side note, people routinely treat it as a 4-way because so many other run through it.

The guy who ran the stop sign had a trailer that got bound up after the collision. He got out (I presumed to check on the other car) and then unhitched the trailer and sped off! Thankfully the people in the car weren't hurt.

When I moved here I thought it would be great to live on a low volume road but truth be told there have been just as many wild collisions and people speeding as when I lived on a major collector.

Watching those people get out and then keep going without even bothering to look back is chilling.
