Holes next to front D Rings

Can I put the drain hose for bed cover down through the holes next to the forward D Rings or should I drill the holes as per instructions? Can't tell if those holes drain to ground or not.

It is a plain ole Jeep Gladiator. In the truck bed next to the forward D Rings, mounted in the bed there are holes through the bed on either side. Do these holes drain to the ground. Through which I might put the drain tubing from the bed cover. Hope the explains better.

I believe these are the holes you are talking about. I enlarged the hole a little and cut some of the tube, so there isn't a lot of slack in the tube

Thank you. Yes I finally did the same as you. Thats just a plastic plug under the spray liner. Mine also has a factory hole nest to the D Ring shown in your picture. Its between the ring and the back of the truck bed. Maybe not all beds have that hole.

I drilled into the plastic plug also (like the photo above) just before I had the Line-X done. It came out very neat and professional looking.
