I thought I would put in a quick little mention for this group as well - having been part of it for a couple of years. It is a great group, that until last night, I didn't realize has members from all over the nation and not as many members locally to Montana. Every year they do a couple of trips, some easy and doable for 2wd trucks and others more hard core. The purpose of the group is really to help those with PTSD reconnect and talk about and deal with their issues among others with similar issues - which rebuilds that sense of camaraderie often not found outside of a 'combat' type situation.
Anyway, it's a great group and there is a special little event happening in a few weeks I hope to report back on.
Also, this is not only for veterans, but is also for police, first responders, EMT, etc.... Basically anyone who has held a job that has 'seen some stuff'.
So if this is you, and you're struggling to 'fit in' then I would suggest this group. It certainly has helped me, and no doubt can do the same for others.
