Mine is going into the dealer paint shop Monday. They said it will take 2-4 weeks. Go figure?? Sure am glad I have another truck to drive. But I will say they gave me no hassle. They inspected the hinges and scheduled me to repaint right away, no questions asked. They said I was the 3rd one that day to come in.
That’s great, let me know how it turns out. I’m in Central Fl.
I joined a Facebook group, Jeep Jl Corrosion Warranty Resource Information page. Pretty good info, some dealerships a replacing doors and hoods. Some are saying if it is just repaired the issue will just come back. I hope that is not the case.

Actually, that makes sense for a body shop and the way things are today. You are lucky.

Yes! I had rather them under promise and over deliver.
Yeah, like Scotty (Star Trek) -
Captain - Scotty, I need those warp engines online now!
Scotty - Cap'n, ye cannot change the laws of physics, it's going to take at least 8 hours!
An hour later -
Captain - Scotty, where are those engines, I need them now!
Scotty - ready, Cap'n, give it all you've got!
Captain - Scotty, you truly are a miracle worker!

I’m next, noticed the paint bubbles in the left side to the hood edge this morning. Thought I had dodged this with my 21, bummer

That is where I have it on my ‘21 Gladiator. I’m not going to bring it in yet. I want to see if the hinges are going to corrode before going through the hassle. I did bring it to the dealer to open a ticket Though.
Check out Jeep JL Warranty Resource Information group on Facebook. A lot of good info.

I got mine back one week after dropping it off. I really think they replaced the hood. The paint looks factory, its flawless. They would only say it was repainted. I still have 24 months left on the corrosion warranty, so I will keep my eye out for more areas of concern. They told me some are having issues around the door hinges. For me this was a painless experience. Very pleased with the outcome.

A good shop can make it look factory. It should not look like a repainted hood with any obvious tells.
Does that mean you got a new hood?
Does that mean you didn't get a new hood?
I'm not saying either one - just that a good shop's work should not be obvious.

Yup, my ‘21 has one spot on the seam of the hood as well. Passenger side.

Well this sucks. Washed mine last night and noticed this morning that there are two big spots on the passenger side and a small spot starting on the drivers. Mine is a '22. Just got it back from 2 weeks at the dealer for the HPFP replacement and rear axle sensor. They broke some trim and it took them a while to get the parts. Looks like another long visit is in the future.

Yep, I had to weight my options and between the paint and the engine ticking i traded mine. Just did not and should not have to deal with this on vehicles that are a year or two old. Not saying you don’t have issues with all vehicles but the things going wrong or could go wrong made up my mind.

Anyone getting a loaner or reimbursed for a rental? I made my appointment today and was told they would have mine for 2 plus weeks, body shop told me to call the dealer service department to schedule a loaner. Service department says Jeep isn't covering a loaner for paint issues, they gave me a customer care number. I called the number and got the runaround to the point where I got pissed and hung up. I sent a DM to JeepCares, so I'll see where it goes. My wife's JLU has paint issues too and I'm going to be pissed if they don't offer a loaer or reimbursement.

That’s sucks, they clearly know they have a problem on these vehicles and they need to make it right all the way around and own it completely. Otherwise they will have more customers like me that bail on the brand. I loved my Gladiator but it needs to be reliable for the long term and paint should not be bubbling and falling off.

Ford and Chevy are having the same paint issues. It's not "a Jeep thing".
