I put these in mine too. Here's some videos on YT that talk about the sound and heat benefits:

JK Gears and Gadgets on YouTube (Linky!) has a great video about the heat benefits and Gator_Overland on YouTube (LINKY!) has another great video about the sound reduction benefits.

Now that its getting hot outside is there a large difference in the amount of heat in the truck? Is the truck quieter too? no echo?? Thanks
This gentleman sold me on the liners. Check his vid. It’s an install vid with decimal and temp comparisons. He lives in Texas like I do. So it’s hot here.

*I see I was treed.

i have the bestop sunrider in the front and use that year round except winter. do they sell a rear set or would you have to buy the full? would it be worth buying if it is only applied in the back (sunrider in front)? it seems very useful but the price and not having it in the front have me hesitant.

Are they really worth 400 bucks
Yes. Not cheap, but it is high quality and better than the OEM ones by far.

I had the full set on my JL with the sound strips. Big improvement in reducing wind/rain noise and increasing the sound quality of the stereo by reducing road noise. And they really do make a difference in insulating the cab from heat.

My set for the Gladiator just arrived. Stoked to make the upgrade.

Got mine installed last night. The hardest part was removing the tops (you don't have to, but it gave me more room to work and made it easier). I also put in their Sound Assassin strips (butyl-based sound deadening material). They say their kit reduces road & wind noise by 3 to 6 decibels (dB) and I believe it.

On the way to work today (45 minute commute, mixed interstate and city) I could tell the difference.

sanding is apart of the HH instructions?
Sanding your hard top sounds a bit intimidating, I agree. We don't instruct people to sand their hard top, rather lightly scuff with the included piece of high grit sand paper. Doing this is important to help with a better adhesion of the 3M VHB tape to your hard top. You won't damage your hard top or notice any marks with doing so.

Here's a quick [video] of me describing our Preparation Instructions regarding the scuffing.

Thanks,
-Mark
