Thank you everyone for your great input. I do think I want a full or at least mid-with bumper. I don't think I want to modify the OEM plastic bumper. I do like the look of the Warn 101335 but seams almost Sacrilege to grind off those great looking shackle mounts. Looking at possibly the MP Concepts Forged Aluminum. OEM size but lighter and comes with skid plate (as well as winch plate). However, still open to any advice I can get.

Quick measurements with a tape measure indicate the the Arcus sticks out about 2" less than the stock plastic bumper.

Yeah the Arcus is shorter than factory.
I don’t have to shuffle around the Jeep now. Can walk normally between the garage door and the tailgate

I’m actually thinking about pulling the trigger on this metal cloak bumper.
Seems to be low profile and they make really great quality parts

Is the 2" shorter with the front " tusks " installed?

Not sure, I took them off pretty quickly and replaced them with a shorter shackle type attchment
If you have time mind posting a pic of the new shackle ? Thanks. I'm in the same spot as OP needing a bu mper that doesn't go any more out than the stock bumper.

Looks good! Like the shackles I assume they just mount in the same spots as the tusks? Got a brand name or model for those? Thx again!
I just searched my emails and can’t find what brand they are.

A quick google search just brought a bunch of them up though. You do have to cut the Arcus bumper openings a little to get them to fit through. Wasn’t hard.

Meant to ask this but replied to another user. When you measured the 2" less than the factory bumper, were you including the tusks on the Arcus? Thx!

Maybe you guys are thinking the wrong end, what about putting something along the likes of Relentless Fabrication’s rear high clearance bumper with hitch behind license plate, there are others.
I also have to add if it’s that close just get a saw and cut a whole in wall to gain perhaps two inches. Just be sure to figure putting fire rated drywall over any exposed wood…..Jack
