Good info, for sure.

For what it's worth, I weighed each end cap from the 3 piece stock steel bumper when I took mine off tonight and each section weighed 8.8 lbs. So nothing life changing but almost 18 pounds is nice when running it stubby.

Thank you, I was curious how much the stubby would weigh alone. Super helpful.

I'd start with that. At the end of the day, if you love it, who cares? It's your Jeep. General consensus is as long as it's not squatting or has a grumpy grill you are good to go. I started that one year later thread. Go check it out. Everyone did something different and I don't see a bad Jeep in the lot.

If you look back at it in the lot after you park it, you are doing it right.

Thanks for the information! I am ok with some rake, do you think the 1.5 in the front and 3/4 in the back would look decent once just the bumper was on? Or would you just do 1 inch in the front with the 3/4 in the back or would that result in too much rake compared to stock? I have no plans on installing a winch, just prefer the stubby portion of the bumper.

Thanks, well put!

Have you considered the MP Concept Forged Aluminum Front Bumper. It is exactly like the 3 piece steel bumper. I believe they may still be on sale. I think it is lighter than the plastic bumper.

Mine has Rubicon front springs. I added the bumper and a winch.
The springs alone gained me roughly 1" over stock height.
The bumper and winch dropped that 1/2".
The 3/4" spacers took it back up so my net gain was 1.25"
If you don't do a heavy winch, the bumper likely will not drop it 1/2".

I'd LOVE to get the measurements from a 100% fully bone stock never been touched 2020 Overland to see just how those sit since I have since lost my original stock measurements. I was careless and wrote them on a piece of paper - in the garage. You'd have to see my garage to understand LOL. A good blood hound could get lost in there.
This is great information ShadowsPapa! Based upon your recommendations, I went ahead and ordered the Mopar steel bumper "knock-off" on e-Bay. It will be delivered tomorrow. I have a Mojave (although I drove an Overland for a year before trading it in and buying my Mojave 6 months ago). The Mojave front end is lifted 1 inch compared to the other Gladiators. I'm going to put the new bumper on this coming weekend and - based on other posts I have read - expect the front end to drop about 1/4 of an inch. When I add a winch and plate (probably next month) I'm thinking I will also add a 3/4 inch spacer to the front to compensate for all the additional weight.
