I got my Ebay "Rubicon" steel bumper installed last weekend and had a similar experience. The one I ordered had a note in the seller description "If you need bumper without sensor holes, leave a note and we'll send that"I figured they came with the holes but expected plugs for them. I had some plugs here to use but thought I'd ask anyway. There was no issue at all and I received them in about 3 days. The holes on the 'wings' I'll just plug if I leave them on. Still up in the air.
Nice! Did it sag the springs or front end dive at all?I installed my knock off Bumper 2 weeks ago. I transferred the orange Mojave tow hooks over and trimmed my Mojave skid plate to work.
For the price point, its hard to beat.
No sag.Nice! Did it sag the springs or front end dive at all?
You must have an aluminum bumper. I'd bet that my steel bumper is an easy 50-60 pounds more than my original plastic bumper. No sag.
I did not install the end caps or winch plate to save weight.
All said in done, it might be 20lbs more
Its definitely steel, because my magnetic trays stick to it.You must have an aluminum bumper. I'd bet that my steel bumper is an easy 50-60 pounds more than my original plastic bumper.
I can hold the original stock bumper out with one arm. I can't even hold the main section of the steel bumper with one arm.
But then if you left off the ends, I bet you left off 25 pounds. those are about 12 - 15 pounds each.
The weight of the bumper is supposedly 80 pounds (with ends)
I can't lift the completed bumper. My stock bumper I can carry under one arm.

Thanks for info buddy!No sag.

Mind sharing the link to the bumper and seller that you got your bumper from?I got my Ebay "Rubicon" steel bumper installed last weekend and had a similar experience. The one I ordered had a note in the seller description "If you need bumper without sensor holes, leave a note and we'll send that"
I put a note on my order to send a bumper without the parking sensor holes, and the bumper I got came with wings without holes and plastic fillers without the holes. I couldn't believe it worked either.
Mine had no holes for sensors, had it powder coated white to match the truckMind sharing the link to the bumper and seller that you got your bumper from?
Someone hit my plastic bumper and would like to replace it with a steel bumper without those sensor holes.
And yet the ad clearly shows the holes in the bezels and the bumper itself. It looks identical to the bumper I bought. So the pics don't match what you got.Mine had no holes for sensors, had it powder coated white to match the truck

Thanks and wow! That white powder coat looks amazing.Mine had no holes for sensors, had it powder coated white to match the truck
The description states that it has no parking sensor holes, which is why I bought it. Also the seller is 20 minutes from my house, so I could drive it back myself to return it if I needed to.And yet the ad clearly shows the holes in the bezels and the bumper itself. It looks identical to the bumper I bought. So the pics don't match what you got.
Thank you. I purchased a rear bumper with holes in it for a crazy deal, so I’m in the process of welding and grinding to smooth it out and I’ll send it to the same powder coater. Thanks and wow! That white powder coat looks amazing.
