Tired of debeading tires in the rocks, so looking to move to beadlocks. Seems like most of what I like are coming in -38 offset, (KMC) and only other option I half like are the Teraflex Olympus at -12. Given consideration to the fact I have stock (wide) axles are any of you running a lot of offset seeing bearing/ball joint issues running more negative?

I don't have legality issues with the poke so I'm safe there. Thanks.

I don’t have my new to me beadlocks on yet, but I guess I can answer the -12 question. I have teralfex nomads currently at -12 and 4.25 backspacing. 8.5” wide. I have upgraded ball joints, but have for so long it would be tough to say. I replaced my unit bearings last year and they were toast. But I’m pretty sure they would have been anyway with 37’s and a decent lift. I don’t think -12 is that extreme.

I ran a set of -25 Racelines with 40" Nittos for 40k and a set of -38 Methods with 40" nittos for about 35k (both very heavy setups) without issue. I currently have 146k miles on factory ball joints and the drivers side unit bearing is still original as well. Passenger was replaced when I blew a u-joint and FAD coupler. You will be fine with -38 wheels.

Now that’s a hell of a review.
