Personally, I don't think it's smoke at all. I think they are purposefully delaying colors to get people to jump ship and start buying all the black, red, silver and white gladiators still sitting on all the lots. See post 289..........
Maybe, however in their quarterly report, dated Aug 2nd, FCA reported Gladiator sales exceeding expectations with them capturing 7.7% of the truck market.

That said, FCA didn't report sales numbers for any product in July.

My salesman sent me a text saying December. :/ I’m not sure where that info is from.

They’re barely off the truck before selling here. The dealer down the street from me had three different rubicons on the little mountain display come and go last Saturday alone.

It's hard to say. If you look at that table for dates again (I'm going off of memory as well...) Sometime in late October was the production date for Hydro Blue with body color tops, wasn't it? Maybe (hopefully) that is what your dealer was thinking of. I've contacted Jack and @spenchey several times about ordering blue and still no word. He said he would look into it further if it rolls over to September as they have some sort of call or something with Jeep. I really wanted mine before snow flies here in Iowa, but if it truly won't be until December for some reason, then I'll probably wait until spring. Ugh. I'm not going to buy a black, red, white or silver one. Nope! If I'm finally going to spend this much money on a vehicle for myself, I'm getting exactly what I want!

Yes it was October.

I’m waiting on the diesel anyways so it’s no biggie. However all this waiting also means I may just go buy a Raptor. (Goes off to measure garage. Bay again)

So...October, November and December. Anyone else get the feeling that corporate is not providing ANY information to the dealers?

Wow, just wow! #FCAdontcare, #WewantHydroBlue, #JeepCares?

I'm gonna get a white one, wrap it, and send the bill to FCA, that should get the ball rolling!

I am a Louisiana Redneck, so anything is possible.

If I do go the Raptor route, a Sawzall might be needed for my garage. It's friggin huge. That size is also it's biggest downside when going off road.

Depending on what you're up to. My off road is a work yard with big loader ruts, job sites with rough roads, and hunting spots with rough access. Raptor will do just fine.

Downside is no manual transmission and no removable roof.

But 450hp and 510 torque and already set up to run 35s stock. Pretty close trade. Not completely, but pretty close.

I'm not really concerned about it's capabilities. I drive some fairly tough trails in Colorado. I see Raptors on them all the time. It's the width that hurts it around here because you're more likely to get trail rash on the paint. I've been in several situations where the narrower body of my JLU was a life saver. Of course I've also gotten trail rash all over my Jeep. That's about it..
