"What kind of complete wuss needs a heated steering wheel and heated seats in a jeep" I used to say...well, now that would be me!

Those accessories have become my favorite features that I would never have ordered from the factory, but came with my current JTR and I would have to have again.

So, yes I'm now officially a hypocrite. ?

Anyone else start off hating a certain feature and now can't live without it?

It’s one of those features that once you have it you won’t go back. At least for me. I couldn’t give up my heated seats and steering wheel either.

I also fell in love with the adaptive cruise control for those long stretches of freeway. I know it’s not everyone’s favorite but I would buy again.

I froze to death driving my soft top CJ7 30 miles one way to high school. About the time the heat would get warm I would meet a log truck and the doors would get sucked an inch away from the body and all the heat would get sucked out with it. Yes, heated seats and wheel are a must for me.

I got Air Conditioning in mine and would love to do away with it so I can spend more time with the top off and doors off. My AC went out in my JKU at around the 52,000 mile mark and I never got it fixed. Sold it to the dealership with it not working. All I need is a little heat for the winter time.

My first vehicle to have heated seats and steering wheel, along with AC in the seats was my '16 Ford Explorer Sport. In the Sport trim there was no choice, you got all of that with it.

MAN AM I GLAD IT DID. Black leather seats with AC in the seats, YES PLEASE. The heated part in the winter was nice, beats climbing into a cold seat, but I will NEVER call anyone a wuss for having AC seats.

C'mon JEEP, pony up.

Along with cold weather group, I am enjoying the power windows, back up camera, and Apple CarPlay. Last Jeep 12 JKR was manual everything ?

Still a no-option sport S badass here, lol.

But seriously, every time i say "i'll never" i always end up doing.

So i'll never buy a porsche 911. Ever. Never ever
I got 1 more year and a 911 will be in my Garage. Almost bought a 2017 911 turbo s about a month ago. Didn't get to go look at before someone put a deposit down on it. I'm still looking, Budget is $110,000

What a difference it makes parking in a garage and working from home. I'm sure I'd love the heated seats and steering wheel, but plenty of time in the winter I still flip the sunrider back, blast the heat and wear gloves. Gotta get around to adding the passive entry though, missing that can be annoying

If you're like me, what would happen is you are now the proud owner of a clapped out 'running' 996 because the body was straight and it was "only 5k' and now there are two money pits in the garage.

The best option that I would have never ordered but ended up truly enjoying after buying a xlt off a lot was Ford’s door unlock key pad. I can’t tell you how many times I stealthfully hid my wallet, keys, phone or whatever I deemed I didn’t need out of sight in my rig. Then, locked the doors and took a trail ride or what have you. I’d really appreciate having that in my hardtop rig. My $.02’s.

The heated seats were the one thing ordered to spite my X. I'm glad I did. I like them.
